Different Social Media Platforms being Used by Businesses

  1. Facebook: The users are roughly 43% women and 88% of them are 18-29 years old. The platform has 2.41 billion monthly active users, and the average Facebook user has 155 friends and users primarly focus on social interactions.

  2. Twitter: There are roughly 330 million monthly users, sending 500 million tweets per day as of 2019. Twitter users are roughly 34% female and 66 % male. 80% of the users are mobile, and 79% of the account users being outside of the U.S. Twitter users primarily focus on world events, television shows, sport, and business related topics.

  3. Linkedln: There are 630 million users around the world and approximately 303 million user monthly. 70% of the users are located outside of the U.S. 57% of users are male and the primary age group is between 30-49 years old. Users focus on jobs, marketing themselves, and selling services.

  4. YouTube: Has 1.9 billion users, which is second only to Facebook. On average 1 billion videos are watched every day, 70% of this time is spent on mobile devices. 62% of the videos posted on YouTube belong to businesses.

There are many more different social media platforms being used today such as Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. And now with the new and very popular Ticktok there are so many different platforms to put your business on in order to get reconized.
